Faith is a rising senior at Brooke Point High School in Stafford, Virginia passionate about medicine, mental health, and helping those around her. I am Giselle Silva and am a senior at Notre Dame High School in Riverside, California. I am very passionate about pursuing a career in medicine and I aspire to become a Pediatrician. I also continue to try to involve myself with programs that will help me towards this goal. I spend my free time mostly with family, friends, and by volunteering within my community. Furthermore, I am a delegate of the Congress of Future Medical Leaders and Physicians. Additionally, i was also inducted into the Society of Torch and Laurel. Overall, I am very excited to be apart of this team and i hope to help many through this program.
My name is Elaina Shifflett and I'm currently a rising junior (11th grade) at Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies. When I am older, I'm interested in becoming an Emergency Medicine Physician and working in the ER. I am also considering going into the field of pediatric oncology. I love the idea of helping others and making a positive impact on my community, which is why I have decided to get involved with PIC. In the past, I have participated in a medical related global internship and this summer I have become involved in a research program at a cancer center near me. In and out of school, I hold many leadership positions, some of which include being a Teen Facilitator for a program that empowers young women and minorities, Secretary of the Operation Smile club at my school, Social Media Manager of Women Matter club, tutor of elementary and middle school kids, Social Media Manager of a non-profit organization,member of Operation Smile's Digital Leadership Council and much more. In addition, I participate in many clubs at my school. Some of my hobbies include singing and listening to music. I am super excited to get this chapter started and make more of an impact in my community and the children in it.
I will be in the 10th grade for the 2022-2023 school year. I first heard about PIC through the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. Currently, I participate in clubs exploring the different fields of healthcare, as well as multiple culture clubs. I hope to implement the knowledge I’ve gained through the 2022 school year into the future of PIC!
My name is Skye Williamson, and I am a Senior at Scranton Preparatory School in Scranton, Pennsylvania! I am an equestrian, cross country and track runner, and a thespian! I am so happy to be a member of the PIC because I love to help people, especially children. It brings me great joy to be a part of something that brings joy to these amazing kids.
